If someone is interested in being involved in educating our future doctors, nurses, dentists and pharmacists, OTs and PTs. One opportunity is to become a health mentor. It requires meeting 6x within a year with students from all health disciplines to discuss what it means to need our health care system, how has your disability and challenges affected you, where have you seen health teams working well for you and when it hasn’t, and much more.
